My Story
This is a story all about how….if you started singing now, we’re probably the same age! 😉 If you didn’t no problem! I simply can’t start self introductions about ‘my story’ without breaking out my best/worst Fresh Prince Of Bel Air rendition. That’s not the only time I add the FUNK though.
Having grown up in a rather small town in Bavaria, Germany I’ve always been the ‘shy’ one, the quiet kid in class that even bullies, most of the time, not always, found too be to quiet to bully. If even bullies don’t care about you, you know something has to change. I pinned a pretty long story on growing up and life learnings on my medium page if you’re interested: Learnings from my life as a prof.
Growing older I eventually decided that my past wouldn’t define my future an I changed everything. I went to Uni, got a degree, worked in agencies, moved abroad, backpacked a lot, became a Uni professor, started a start-up, advised start-ups, got into crypto and so on.
Moral of ‘my story’ is: If you’re not happy where you are at, it’s time to change. If you read this far it’s quite likely that you feel the same and that’s where we hopefully match! I changed a lot. In life, in my profession, relationships, understanding of the world, communication, technology, and so on.
If you believe you want to change as a person, an enterprise, a start-up, an higher ed institution, or just have the drive to add some FUNK to what you’ve been doing, then you are at the right place and I can’t wait to talk to you.

Just because I’m proud of my past does not mean I’m not focused on the future though. The biggest and most exciting challenge is always the next one ahead!
